VALIDITY: This informatiom has "Face Validity" in that appears true to me because it matches the other information I have received on this issue. Plus the TSA admits to doing this. NPris considered a very strong relable, unbiased source of information, especaiily around consumer issues.
ReplyDeleteINFO on RQ: This is a MAJOR DYSFUNCTION in this new procedure. Taking the role of me as the father of my teenage daughter (she is now 32). At 13 years old, I am hoping that this is the first time she has been touched like this. There is no way I can adequately prepare her for the possible emotional impact of this very new and VERY personal intrusion. It not only damages her, but it damages us both in our relationship as PROTECTOR of her. 12 and under children get other procedures. I know that she has seen a lot of sexual stuff, but this is something much different. This incorporates such an intrusion at a stage of much confusion in a child/s life. Plus the idea that it will be done again very soon just leaves without words.
