It is either about the personal "right of refusal" to invasion of privacy or more the ability of the Government to inform passengers of their choices in the intrusion of our personal FREEDOM.
In a time of growing mistrust of the Government, I think this is getting more focus because it visibly shows the FRUSTRATION.
